I went back to the eBay add, and I didn't see where he was pawning off a C2 as a GT3. A word search didn't turn it up either. Maybe he edited the add, not sure. I did see pictures of a GT3 badge and centercaps. But I seriously doubt any purchaser would be fooled, much less an enthusiast. In any event, I did see lots of references to Supercharged this or that. Maybe he should add a disclaimer. Or maybe he is targeting the "show off crowd" Then the GT3 badge is good marketing.

IMO, looking stupid on purpose is just another choice in life. Hell, I've done it enough on accident to know that it doesn't make a bit of difference in the long run. But, just for the record, when the enthusiasts start paying my mortgage and saving for my kids college education, I'll consider what they have to say

Boy, I see we have been having fun today.

I think we're mostly in agreement, but I'm amazed that we up to 70 posts on the subject. Pimping up your car for your personal use is fine, just don't try to sell it that way - remove the bling and revert it back to the nice looking beast that it should be. In this case, a fine looking C2.
