Painted 2-Tone Turbo Twists
Recently I have seen pics posted of Turbo Twists wheels painted in 2-tone color shemes, like black with silver or colored rims.
Does anyone know how they mask the rim circumference perfectly?
The wheels are one-piece and has no distinct line around the outside rims,
I'm puzzled as to how they do it.
I was going to powdercoat them, but after reading about the caution of powder coating,
I'm thinking to have them painted myself, if anyone has some good tips to share.
Thanks!

There is a member of the Sacramento PCA that has a 993 C2S that is Arena red with the painted turbo twists...they are body color with the lip silver. It looks spectacular. They show it. If you look up the Sacramento PCA you will probably find pictures and you can contact them. I have a number for a guy that paints them in the Sacramento area. He charges $100 per wheel. If you want his info...let me know.

Is this guy's wheels the solid or hollow Turbo Twists?
The solids do not have a distinct line around the circumference.
I think the hollows DO have a thin line/separation where it's possible to mask.
Here's a closeup of a hollow spoke:
