Default Trouble closing trunk

Some one backed into my front--a little hard--but not but no visible damage caused.

Now when I close my trunk, that is push it down by hand to secure it, I'm having trouble getting it to stay down.

Anyone have a similar issue?

im sorry this may be alittle obvious......or i would think..................
the car got hit the lid wont lock..........perhaps you should take it to a body shop or dealer so the lid doesnt fly open on the high way and you lose control and kill my family

Yes, I will take it to the body folks. Once I get it secured it won't come up.

I was hoping there would be a simple solution--wishful thinking of course.
