Help with Brake Flush
I am slowly doing my first brake flush, 03 C4S tip. I am using the Motive Power Bleeder, empty, to blow out excess brake fluid. I started at the LF outboard bleed valve and emptied the rear half of the master cylinder. How do I draw down the front half of the reservoir? I'm thinking the RF brake, but I wonder if the front half of the reservoir is for PSM or ABS (or both?)

The way I do it is just remove ALL the fluid from the reservoir and then fill with new fluid as well as the power bleeder and "bleed" till I know I am running NEW fluid beginning RR, then LR, then FR, then FL. You can also do the clutch bleed but it is a PITA!

All done!
I ended up using the innards of a small spray bottle to empty the brake fluid reservoir. I just "sprayed" the fluid into a glass jar, pretty easy. I ended up using the whole liter of ATE Super Blue fluid to make sure all the old fluid was flushed out. The DIY on Renntech worked great and I saved $135 after the cost of the Power Bleeder and brake fluid.
As an added bonus I got my wheels and calipers all cleaned up!
Thanks for your help, Dell.

Go to the pharmacy and purchase medical supply syringes in a big size, i.e. a few ounces (50-100 mL). They make sizes that are used to put "fluids" into tubes that are inserted in the stomach, gastrostomy syringes or some sort. Volume of those is pretty good. Using the syringe plus some short tubing you can evacuate the brake reservoir. I had tried a turkey baster in the past but it couldn't hold vacuum. Hence the syringes from the pharmacy.
