Throttle Body
Car is still not idling at normal on cold starts.
Someone told me I may need to clean the throttle body. What and where is this on the car? Is this something I can do myself?
Please keep in mind that I have minimal mechanical skill.

If you have minimal experience, I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself.
Here's a thread with pictures of how I cleaned my throttle body:

Tell us about how the Gallardo drives (when it's not in the shop).

Not sure what having the G has to do with my throttle body...but yeah, I want to clean it myself.
Just want to know my car a little more. If I can fix something myself, I dont mind doing it. Not a money issue, just a feeling of usefulness issue!
The G is fun to drive. Not as comfortable as the P car or as easy to drive. Great power but not as quick off the line as the P. Definately a head turner.

Youre right. That looks a little more complicated than something I would like to tackle.
Car is a stick. It only happens on the first start of the day.
Car idles at about 500rpm. When restarted it goes right up to where its supposed to be.
Taking it to Carls Repair next week to have Fabspeed exhaust and short shift put in. I'll let them fix it.
Thanks for the advice!
