Polished the Porsche today
4 Attachment(s)
Since it was cooler and raining today, I decided to give the Porsche paint a little TLC. Wash, clay, polish 1, (3M Perfect-It II), polish 2 (Wolfgang Pre-Sealant Enhancer), and finally polymer protectant (Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant). Here are a few early evening pics.

Sweet, looks great.
How many hours of labor? |
Awsome...
Do you use a PC? |
Yes, I use a Porter Cable Dual Action polisher. I bought various velcro backed pads on Autogeek.net. I also have a 10" rotary buffer, which I use to remove the final sealant coat.

Tim -- very nice. I love your car.
I just noticed your red calipers -- are those OEM red calipers or painted? Did you DIY or have them installed? Thanks. |
Tim - Your car looks excellent. Enjoy!!!

Thanks to all for the kind words!
Porsche_Guy - the red calipers were a DIY that cost about $30. Here is a link to the thread I started covering the DIY process. As you will see, the thread kept growing, which means a few folks found the topic interesting. https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...t=Red+calipers |
Great pics, but might a new camera be in your future???
