Wow,
What a way to test the performance of these cars ! You start with the BMW
on an inner circle that has water constantly pouring out on the pavement, learning how to controll an out of control skid. This was the 1- Day high performance school put on by Skip Barber Group. After 10 Laps around lime rock in the 2005 BMW M-30 and 2003 911 All I can say is Porsche all the way !
If you can't decide on what to buy I recomend this 1 day wild adventure.

My daily driver is a 1999 C2 and now I really know how to drive it !

Sounds cool. I almost signed up for this school but decided to wait until I heard from someone who took it. I took the high performance driving school last year, and you drove the new viper but only on the autocross course not the big track.

So you were able to drive the M3 and 911 on the regular track?

Yes,
They let you drive without an instructor in your car both the 911 and M3. It was very intense keeping up with the Dodge Neon Supercharged lead car. I was following the lead car with only one
guy behind me in a M3 I was driving the 911 he was always laging behind.

On the Viper they keep that on the two connected kidney shaped inner track only. Did not like the Viper at all. Too big and loud and a work out to keep it on the track.

Link to this program?

Do they offer it at Sebring, Homestead, or Rd. Atlanta?

Yeah, the inner track is the autocross course. That course is great for the formula dodge cars. I also drove a Lotus Elise and Exige on that autocross course. It was made for that course.
