Wow, great point!! Hey guys, I've seen the OEM ones, they look about as good but are like $200 more, since we bought Porsches, we need to spend more and go OEM, cause that's what people say we should do!!

Can someone please pass the Kool-aid? :X

In all seriousness, whomever the idiot was that said we don't come here to find great deals on parts/mods is...well an IDIOT!!!

Guys, I hate to rain on your "Group Buy" parade, but has anyone checked with John D. to get approval for a Group Buy? I could be wrong about this, but I think any Group Buys that are from vendors who are NOT Rennlist Site Sponsors have to be approved by John D. It MIGHT be required that ALL Group Buys need to be approved by John.

Earlier this week one of the Moderators closed down a Group Buy thread on the 997 Forum that was not pre-approved by John.

Recently I've been putting non OEM washer fluid in my wash bottle AND using non OEM gas in my tank.

That's after I put in these non OEM pedals - I think I've really gone too far now.

What with my non N rated tires, and my B&M shifter, I've probably trashed the car already.

I did stick with OEM shades however, if that helps at all!

As to the difficulty drilling the brake pedal:
Maybe I'm a big dummy, but,
could you not take the cap off the brake master cylinder reservoir so that you can depress the pedal further to allow better access?

I'm too of anewbie to know the rules of a group buy, I just thought we work it out between ourselves if possible. If there are rules then I will just buy a set alone. No hard feelings, just that I hate rules.

Cool shades BTW cdodkin

At your local stealership of course!

I heard one stealership was charging a 'special' of $70 for a nitrogen fill, which CostCo basically give away to members.

That's OEM for you!

Tim,

Didn't know about group buy rules... reading this thread it just sounded like a bunch of people have an interest in these pedals (including me), so I am trying to see what the ebay seller can do (have been emailing with him, and he said he can give a good discount, but hasn't given me the numbers yet). How do I contact John D. about how to set this up?

Looks like the person has 9 left now, was 10.

I do not want to miss out waiting much longer to be honest, I know they will come around again but now is a great time for me to buy something for the car.
