More and More Low Mileage C4S' Showing Up on eBay
Just checked on eBay. It seems that more and more C4S' are showing up for sale, often with mileage under 1,500 miles. Wonder if dealers have been joy-riding in them for a while, and are just now putting them up for sale.
I think the new C4S' are amazing looking vehicles. Favorite color combination (currently) is lapis blue/black.
Here's a couple of links for those desirous of a viewing (as of July 8, 2002):

<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1841193495" target="_blank">A Beautiful Black/Beige with 900 Miles</a>
<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1842520861" target="_blank">A 1,200 miler</a>
I hope we continue to see more and more. If prices start to match quantity, I may just step up
Regards.

Good point karl k. In fact, I've been noticing that many exotics (and certainly many Porsche Turbo's) have been advertised from Houston, TX.
Unfortunately, it seems that most of the sellers are dealers, which means that the *true* bargains are gone. Still, one would hope that with every increasing inventories, dealers will reduce their high markups to get some cars out the door.
If I was only in TX right now...
Regards.

Porsche will soon be offering rebates on all models. There is so much profit in the 996 model cars, it should be against law. Or, we should be locked up for paying as much. Porsche dealers think it is bad now, wait until the SUV shows up.

Three of those cars are at the same dealer (Momentum). Could they be cars that the dealer took back because of blown engines or transmission problems?
Seems a little odd. Then again, the "Enron/Arthur Andersen effect" is probably to blame.

Scott,
Any idea on what the history is on the 9000 mile Seal Gray C4S? The tires sure don't look like "90% tread" avertised by Momentum. More like 30%.
Also, can you clarify for me: when you say these cars are all "over ordered," why do they all have decent miles on them. I thought "over ordered" meant the dealer has overstock on new cars. These clearly seem to have been used and then returned/traded-in.
Regards.
