My dealer told me the "rumour" is a base of around $77,000 - but he quickly added that there are no promises until he gets official info from Porsche. I've heard higher quotes on other boards. I'm skeptical since the 2001 base is $72,000 and the 2002 is supposed to come with many more standard items (18" tires, leather, turbo body, etc.)
