Pics of my 99 996 C2 Finally
Hey guys/gals,
I have been posting on the Rennlist for close to a year and yet have not posted any pics of my ride on the forum. I know...I know that is like the cardinal sin here but bear with me as at least 5 months almost of this time I have been overseas deployed on my day job as an active duty military flight surgeon. And yes it was nice to get back to my cars and drive em. They do drive much better than the regular military issued vehicles (i.e Humvee and step van)!
Anyway I have finished an interior upgrade and sound system upgrade at this point to go along with the wheel refit I started last year. I am running on stock suspension w/upgraded 18" Pirelli P Nero Zero All weathers and have added Schnell stainless steel tips to the stock exhaust. Any thoughts on aftermarket exhausts to add to this setup are more than welcome. As for the interior I've totally replaced the stock Porsche Hi Fi system which for the price isn't worth much. I now have a Kenwood DVD KVT-815 unit with DVD navigation and Alpine 6" subs custom mounted under the front seats for better bass with Boston Acoustic coaxials and components mounted rear and front respectively. All is driven by a separate sub for cleaner mid/low response and a 4 channel for the components. Custom front hood shelf carpeted with Porsche carpet finishes it all off. Oh yeah and the OEM cupholder retrofit with the A/C controls moved down low to the cubby hole space.
Other upgrades include interior aluminum bezels for the dash and PCCA plates. What else guys? Once again sorry so late.

PS...oh yeah the plane is from my last mission to the UK earlier this month. Thought the plane/travel lovers might enjoy it!

Your car looks AWESOME! Is it Arena Red? Have you installed the SSK (short shifter kit)? If not, you should do so. Thanks for posting the pics!

Where did you get those wheels. I have the same ones, but they came on my car. Pic encosed. I'm worried that since I've never seen them anywhere else, that if I ever damage one or something, I may not be able to easily find a replacement.
By the way, cool car. I love the color. Nice plane, too.

Beautiful car. The wife (AF Doc as well) and I have an Arena Red 996. One of the best colors offered by PAG....not that I am not biased or anything
