But at the same time, maybe Porsche is reading these threads and stop going down the slippery slope <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />

Bocky, you're the F-car expert. Is there a good dealer in the Boston MA area? I have to travel 60 miles for service now...I might as well travel another 10 to Boston.

bilstein 996C4 is correct. These are alterd pics and Porsceh is not going to release anything resembling this 
I heard that they might interduce an M-3 competitor which will be front engined, maybe V-8 powered as well. The engine from the Cayenne is a possibility

Here are a couple hints for those of us who don't even recognize the vehicle...
a) In the front view, the vehicle is obviously engaged in a vigorous turn. But how much is the outside front suspension compressed? Compare to the second image--not at all. Sure, it could have the sport suspension, but...
b) The fake shadow under the vehicle in the second image is really poor workmanship.

If this is photoshop stuff, the auto mags must be hungry for any kind of information to fall for this stuff. In Autobahn's case they even put their name on the pic!
I wish I had photoshop talent. I could cobble up all sorts of combos and send them in to unsuspecting hungry car mags.

Whats most worrying about these photoshop pictures is that guys like us should even THINK Porsche could do this to us. Perhaps that is because they made the Cayenne and deep down we now suspect anything is possible. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
