Default Leather

Still looking for my 2002 cab...

While checking car ads, few of them mention if the P car in question is partial leather or full leather... any way I can recognize it from a picture... also, how about supple leather?

Thanks!

I'm emailing you the 03 996 order guide. It may not be exactly the same, but it will explain what is partial and full leather and they may even be the same option codes as 02.

SH*T! PM me your email address and I'll send it to you. It's too large to attach thru the forum.

If you are looking at photos, full leather can be recognized by the stitching on the dash. Look at the interior photos of the dash cover behind the steering wheel and over the instrument cluster.

If the dash looks plastic-like - it is not full leather.

Supple leather has folds on the seat. The regular seats are perforated. here's a pic of supple:

full leather can be best recognised on the doors....if the top of the door panels are leather you have a full leather option...than you can also have supple leahter not my favorite the seats look to comfy for my taste, but the leather is nicer....

On some models it looks like there is a 'coat hook' on the back of the seats... what's that? Does that have anything to do with the type of leather and/or seats?

The supple leather is great, BTW! I have it in my '04 Coupe and really like it. The "coat hooks" are just that, a place to hang your coat (without using a coat hanger) when driving. I don't think the "coat hooks" are directly associated with any particular leather option, but I am not 100% ceratin about this. I believe "coat hooks" are standard on the "standard" seats (as opposed to sport seats).
