Formal Intro, a little over due
I posted back in the beginning of March just before I bought the vehicle but I felt a formal introduction was in order.
I bought this 2002 C2 on March 13th. The car had 3500 miles on it when I got it. Manufacture date is 09/01. Options include:
Partial Aero (just incase you couldn't tell from the photo )
Advanced Technics
Full power seats
Rear wiper
CD Changer
Sun Roof
17inch Wheels
Lapis Blue Metalic
Grey Leather
And now, clear side markers.
I live in northern VA and the car was in PA just north of Wilmington, DE so I took the train up, checked the car out, made the deal and drove it home. I have since put 1500 miles on the car and am loving every minute of it. This included driving it to NC the day after I got it, averaging 29mpg. I was impressed. I am upgrading from a 1995 968 that I have had for 6 years.
Things I would like to do:
Mandatory SSK
Complete the Aero kit
Paint protection film (what do people think about this?)
PSS9
I have lots of questions but I will ask those in seperate posts because I find this easier for folks to deal with than one big list, and it gets better response.
And finally, the obligatory photo:

jerler - Welcome and Contats on getting the 996. SCHWEEET looking ride. Love the color, (however, I am biased), the skirts and wheels. Enjoy it.
Yes, I can recomment the SSK. Easy DIY. Clear bra - some like it others don't. It's really a personoal preference. Depends on how **** you are about stone chips.
