Thumbs up C4 Cab '99 transformed in a C4S.(pics)

I saw this transformation in Flat6 forum.
This german guy put a special front turbo C4S bumper adapted to the 99 headlights, normal sideskirts, and rear C4S spoiler, C4S/turbo rear bumper, sport suspension H&R..
Enjoy:

I believe those parts are made by speedart - they make a turbo look bumper that fits pre 02 headlights (teardrops)

I saw the same thing on a silver 996 Cab parked at the Fashion Square mall in Scottsdale last summer. It looked like 19" wheels and an off white or light grey top and it even had the C4s insignia in the back. Its a very sweet look with soft top. I wonder how many more of these there are out there?

Anything else....besided big bucks, that is! If I did that my wife would KILL me! , but would it ever look good!

SMJ...I think www.carcrafters.com sells them altho I'm not sure. I bought one for my 02 Cab to try out. I didn't like it and returned for credit. I think it was a few hundred bucks. I can't get at my records till I get back frm vacation if no one has answered you by then I'll give you details.

As I said, I didn't like the look, at least on my car. I just taped mine on before I exposed to adhesive to get a feel for what it looked like and to me it looked cheap and didn't match the color of the taillights in certain lights. Plus in my case with the rear wing I had no place to put the emblem

I guess it's permission to buy a C4S.

Car Graphic sells the rear refletive strip that goes on the back of the 996. I think it is something Porsche needs to bring back in my opinion. The strip is not on their website so I guess you have to call them at (800)815-3751

There is a guy in Vancouver who has an 02-03 cab with all of the c4s upgrades (front/rear bumper, side skirts, lowered, red brakes, etc.) except for the wide body and the rear light strip. I thought it was a new Porsche model! On the back was "Carrera R". I thought it might have been a Ruf conversion but was not sure.

Unless you make a change in the engine or ride, Renato's wife's comment seems appropriate.

Yes, there was no RGT spoiler. It was Seal Grey, I think. Very nice looking car. Too bad they did not put the wide body flares on it as there are a couple of really top quality craftsmen like body shops in Vancouver. That would have made the difference.

I don't know how much Weissach wanted for that car but the talk is that there will be a factory c4s Cab being produced in the next MY!
