I read sometime ago that the bulbs that they sold in this website were not matched to the reflector of most cars, and therefore caused too much scatter of the beam. Something about the bulbs being too long and sticking out too much in front of the reflector. Has anybody used these before?

don't know if this would be of any help but if you go to www.bmwm5 discussion board there have been quite a few posts on people having purchased with good experiences. good luck.

Cracks me up when I see a rice rocket come up from behind with absolutely blinding HID bulb conversions in a normal halogen based optical housing, because as it passes , you see two useless itty bitty bright "hot" spots for the car's whole illumination of the road. Total nincompoop who thinks he looks cool. The optics have to be designed for HID bulbs.
