Adding Redline Water Wetter to 996
Has anyone used this product in their 996? Was there a noticable improvement? Also, how much of this product did you use?
Finally, one more silly question... I don't have my owners manual so I dont know where to add coolant . I am assuming you add it directly into the coolant reservoir. Is that correct? I also noticed no overflow tube so I am assuming that the whole system is indeed pressurized with no overflow. Is this correct? Please give me step by step instructions on how to add coolant.
Thanks in advance...

What improvement? Water Wetter is good if you want to bring down the coolant temperature in an overheating engine. I would use it on a temporary basis as your 996 doesn't need it under normal operating conditions.

I should of rephrased that... Should of said any noticable reduction in water temp. Redline Water Wetter claims up to 10 degree F reduction in water temp. My 996 doesn't run hot but I am attending a high performance DE event this week and I want to play it safe.
Thanks...
Thanks...

Viken, I believe that Todd Serota was running the product in his car on a regular basis, along with a higher ration of water to coolant. Do you know if this is still the case ? Perry
