Hi, I just took delivery of my '02 996 Cabrio recently. I was interested in aquiring a hoist to raise and store the hartop. What are some recommendations.

I checked into this and decided on the one from Performance products...the hand operated one. I was convinced after doing some checking that the method they use to hold on to the top was better than the one with the bar across the top. There may be others, but this one looked good to me...not cheap, tho. I know eBay had one on there from Bev Hills Accessories, but it was bid up to within a few bucks of list. Mine is arriving today or tomorrow. Can't hook it up right away but if you want some digital pics of the assembly before it's hooked up, let me know.
