Squeaky clutch pedal?
My 996 C2 has an annoying squeaky noise when depressing the clutch. My service advisor suggested spraying WD-40, which I did liberally on all the movable parts I could see. I noticed the entire pedal seems to be made of plastic unlike the brake pedal, which seems to be made of aluminum. I'm wondering if what I'm hearing is actually the flexing of the plastic as I compress the pedal. If this is the case, do they make a aluminum pedal to replace the plastic one? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You didn't say what year your C2 is. I had a '99 996 which developed a squeaky clutch pedal and it turned out to be a known warranty item that my dealer fixed by replacing the pedal assembly. Go back to your dealer and raise the issue.
