I am considering seeling my one year old '02 996. I was wondering what would be a decent sale price for this car. The sticker was $74,000, which I received a decent discount when I bought it. The car has little options on it, which should help on my resale value, I think. The options are: basic technics package, metallic (seal grey)paint, 18" 5 spoke rims, painted crests and a few other small add ons. Car has 6200 miles and was just serviced at 12 months. Great shape.

I was thinking I may be able to get low to mid 60's, considering the bigger engine and reshaped front. What do yo'll think?

IMHO, looks like mid to high 50's is more like it.

A 2002 C4S topped out at 76k, short of the 79k "buy now" price. That may give you a reference point.

I guess it can't hurt to ask, and see what offers you get.

The seller was a BMW dealer and they offered it to me for $63,000.....it was to far away to handle with a three day time limit....so I passed

I would guess a range of $59 to $62,000 if you are lucky
