Post Red Calipers -- Brake Caliper Lacquer?

Saw this on performanceproducts.com. Anyone have any experience with this or opinions? Will this stuff last, or will it just flake off eventually? Surely more cost-efficient (about $55 for all 4) than replacing with Boxster "S" red calipers. (We have a 2000 996 C2 Cab, Biarritz White)

Brake Caliper Lacquer

Simply prepare the calipers with the supplied cleaner, mix the two-part lacquer and paint. Add a new accent to your Vehicle or give mangy, old calipers a new look. Makes calipers easier to keep clean. Enough for four brake calipers. Choose Silver, Gold, Yellow, Blue, Black or Red. $54.98

After a decade with Performance the reviews on the product were mixed with the majority on the positive side. The key is to clean, clean, then when your done cleaning, clean again. usually does the trick. Looks decent as well.
Good luck.
