Many of you have indicated you have dark/dark combinations. Others have indicated that their contrasts have worked well (ie silver "Carrera" logo on dark color).

But nobody has yet informed why the dark/dark combinations persist.

My curiosity on why Porsche does this remains piqued.

Regards.

Vik...I think Porsche chooses a badge color for a particular model and then uses it on all colors of that particular model. I feel that for what you pay for a Porsche one of the (inexpensive) options should be special color name badge. Like me, who wants a silver "Carrera 4" badge on an Arctic Silver C4. Maybe the way to go is order the delete option and have Eric (the plug guy) paint you one in the color of your choice. I wonder If Porsche would allow that considering how **** they are about how they present their cars..

I prefer the black script on dark colors. The effect is very subtle. IMHO silver draws attention away from the lines of the car.

I also like black script on light colored cars!

Guess I just like black script.

Painting them would be impossible in that removal will break the plastic. Better just to order one and it isn't expensive. I had black logo changed to silver and looks great. Regards. mike

I deleted the logo on my C4S and removed it from my Boxster.

Ocean blue with silver logo... I thought the original black logo was a bit mismatched for the dark color.
I think it would be one of those personal taste things.

I've got to do something with this badge...it's driving me crazy. I agree Don. Silver on Silver just doesn't make sense...nor do justice to your car.

Regards.
