I am not sure I agree with that. The throw out bearing is the same in the 6-speed and the F1. In fact, the gearboxes are indentical inside the casing. I haven't heard of any common throw out bearing failures in the 360.

I don't know about the 348 or 355 but the engine doesn't need to be dropped for a timing belt change in the 360 or the current V12 cars.
