Can you guys that have RWD 996s put golf clubs in the front trunks? I'm wondering because I was looking at an ad in Excellence for Das Schild (makers of trunk liners) that has a picture of a golf club, and the front trunk is so small in my C4S that you couldn't put a golf club in there even if it was bent in half. I know that due to the absence of the AWD parts that the trunk is bigger in the RWDs but is there a big difference?

No way, unless you have telescoping golf clubs. The golf bag goes on top of the folded rear seats.

No, golf clubs will not fit in the trunk. Golf bag has to go in the back seat area, with the back seats either up or down.

sry man..clubs won't fit even with the spare tire removed....they're a bit too long...u could probably get a putter in tho. the rest are too tall.

If you take out the woods and lay them on top you can fit two bags in the back seat!!
