I was wondering if anyone here has heard the Roock sport exhaust system. Was wondering how the sound of that unit compares to those other ones out there.

By the way, I am starting to get notices (from word of mouth) that some of the exhaust system are made by the same manufacturer. Which means that (for example) Gemballa's unit comes from the same manufacturer as the Techart unit. Does anyone know anything about this?

mnay of the high-end German tuners dont make their exhausts and ridicule anyone elses other than their "brand". RUF is a great tuner BUT is extremely notorious for that kind of attitude. Fabspeed Motorsport is one of the very FEW tuners that uses TRUE 100 cell German made racecats for the 996Twin Turbo and 996 GT2. Gemballa and Cargraphic dont use 100 cell racecats on the 996TT systems. Easy to tell and more backpressure without 100 cell cats. I will have a picture up on the website with stock 996TT cats versus 100cells cats......analagous to "screens in your windows at home " versus "chicken wire sized holes"!Performance for the next Millenium..website

I have the Roock 4" round chrome tips - they are beautiful , jewel -like compared to the Porsche factory 996 big oval tips I had before.

sideways.....I wasnt bashing. Its just interesting when the German's bash everyone else stuff and they all buy the same stuff. RUF, Roock, FVD, RS Tuning are all brilliant tuners.......I shouldnt have perhaps chimed in as a tuner delivers complete package versus just super quality stainless steel exhaust systems like we do for the 996 Twin Turbo & the new GT2.
