Default Help with CDR220 code

I just installed a new battery and need help with the radio code. I have a credit card sized Becker Indentikarte, but I don't see a code number on the card. All I see is a serial number. Is the 4 digit code hidden in the serial number somehow?

Thanks

Nope. Just has a serial number... CDC-3 Y 10xxxx Maybe this is for the Cd changer, not the radio?

Maybe I need to give the dealer a ring on Monday???

It should be the 4 digits under the words "radio code"

If that doesn't work your dealer should help you if you give hime the serial number.

Last resort is to fill out a form and send it to Becker with 30bucks and vin number and they will give you code. I have the form for this. Ask me why I have it

How about a picture of what you are looking at for the radio code or serial number. There is no code for the cd changer. Sounds like you might be looking at the sticker on the bottom of a cd changer in the trunk, as there is a serial number but no code for the radio.

Tool Pants,

I found the original card you have posted up above, so now I know the four didgit code. Thanks! But, i think I may have locked the radio up with my prior attempts at "deciphering" the code. The radio just says "wait," and doesn't give me the option to enter the code. Do I need to wait a certain period of time to try again, or would it help if I disconnected and reconnected the battery to reset things? Any other thoughts?

This is covered in the radio manual that should have come with your car.

Something like - you enter the wrong code 3 times - then you have to wait an hour to guess again, with the correct code I hope.

The ignition key and radio must be on during this wait message on the display.

If you enter the wrong code way too many times then it is something like 24 hours with the key and radio on.

Disconnecting the battery again, just makes you wait more.
