Default 996 Targa RIP. Hello C4S (w/EVO ?)

Looking forward to picking up my C4S this week from the super guys at Pfaff, also contemplating the install of an EVO Supercharger.

Anyone installed this on a Tiptronic transmission yet? I am thinking of installing it come Spring time?

Any concerns on the effect of very cold weather on the Supercharger? (Nacelle?)

Thanks

Kirby has the Evo supercharger on his '03 C2. I believe he has a tiptronic. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-forum/149301-look-what-s-coming.html

Search for threads with his username Itzkirb. He's got a ton of mods including PSS9's. Sweet ride.

Congrats on the upgrade, but a tip! and all that work you did on the targa.
How much did Phaff get you for? a 2002 so your still ok with the factory warrenty for a while. Putting in a EVO Supercharger, isn't that going to void the warrenty?

Are your going to Pfaff on the 29th for their 40th?

Hey , yes , will be there picking up my new car actually...how ironic
I needed the Tip for swapping cars with wifes Cayenne on weekend and for the amount of traffic downtown, its just crazy going home, took teh fun out of driving it. So , I get the P-car for winter as well...will be buying a track car this winter, probably a stock 996 or 993 to build and (ab) use next spring.

Got a great price on my Targa and got my moneys worth out of the mods that hardly cost me much anyway, switching a few bits over to the C4S...looking forward to it.

Cheers

Hey Scott,

the S/C was installed in April so cannot really say very much about winter use...I also put Nacelle into hibernation for the winter...I have put on about 6000 KM since the install and the beast has been running beautifully.

I will give you a call about my overall experience. Send me a PM...

Eric
