Default Window tries to drop.

The passenger window tries to drop from the inside or outside handle. The problem is that it moves to the rear of the car instead of going straight down as the driver's window does. This has the top rear corner hanging up on the car body, preventing the door from opening. Suggestions on how to approach this.

As an aside, I just received my 62K-mile oil analysis, and all is within established parameters.

Remove door card and inspect.
Perhaps the forward clamp that holds the glass is loose or something else is broken, resulting in the pull on that end being less than on the rearward end.
Pelican parts has a good guide on their site.

Over time my drivers side window shifted toward the back and would just nick the side of the car. I opened the door card as mentioned and repositioned the window. Not difficult if you’re careful and no problem since.

Yup, same here. Found this:

in the bottom of the door. Now I know what that loose, rattling sound was. The regulator had been changed years ago by the dealer. They must of left this behind.
