I have a 2001 C2 and am on the hunt for a OBD2 blue tooth/wireless OBD2 scanner and android app suitable for use on my car, so far I've looked at Icar and android apps Torque and OBD fusion but havent been able to determine if these will work on my car, any help would appreciated

I like my Foxwell NT710 because it does a lot of things. Unfortunately, I can’t read overrev data and the OBD connector cable is really short.
The second problem can be solved with an OBD2 cable extension.
Also, if you work on other brands of cars, you’ll have to fork over an additional $60-80 for each brand. It may be good if you only have Porsches at home, or if you own only Porsche and one other brand. Any more than that, and you may be better served choosing a different scanner. This phenomenon seems to be found across most Foxwell scanners. Maybe their higher-end ones won’t have this limitation.
Any of them will work with your car, so will the Torque app. I have the Vgate iCar 3 ODB-II scanner (WiFi) that I that I keep plugged in.It works with Android and iOS. It shuts off automatically so won't drain your battery. For more detailed interrogation of the car, I use a Durametric.
I would recommend the OBDLink LX for Andriod ( OBDLink MX for Iphone) ...You can just plug them in and leave them , will not drain the battery and you set your phone up to display gauges while driving to monitor OBD functions...
For Phone Apps I like the Torque Pro...Has a lot of usefull plug-ins, custom Dashes, track plug-ins, ect and of course will read and erase codes...( for Android)
For Iphone I think the Dash Command App would be the best...

Thanks for the advice, had not come across that one (OBDLink LX) but now I see it on Amazon
