What part is this in the driver's side steering or suspension?
I'm trying to identify this part that is broken. I don't notice anything abnormal driving but I was looking down under the car and noticed a wishbone looking part that is broken on a 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera 4.

Thanks!
Is this the rear of your car or the front? Doesn’t look like the suspension link is broken. Rather, it looks like the attaching point has broken off, which is much more difficult to repair than replacing one of the suspension arms.
Please let us know from what angle you are taking this photo and from which wheel well.
Part of the headlight leveling system. The broken part is the plastic headlight level sensor strut support, #21 in the diagram below. Part number 996 341 371 03, $5 at Pelican Parts.

What Falcon said is correct. The link arm, #20 is connected to the control arm through plastic part #21. When the end of the link corrodes until it can no longer move freely, it snaps the end of #21 and that is what is hanging from the end. You will need two #19, one #20 and one #21 to repair. There is one of these on the driver's side front and driver's side rear I believe.
