Default Engine condition??

Garrett how fresh is the engine? I’m hunting for one. Anyway my car also has the tech art front bumper, no side skirts. There are two 997 S for sale in Facebook. One is the triple black launch edition with the pccb. Anyway these are priced at around $44k.

Pardon my ignorance, but why is 145k mi. considered “high mileage” for a 22 year old car? Do the math… that’s an average of less than 7k/yr. High milage? Uh, I don’t think so

Then he can list in the Marketplace, as is required. Or, in the Members FS/FT area.

I agree… to me mileage like this means it’s been used regularly and maintained! That’s a good thing for a buyer who wants to drive

Anybody heard from Garrett? I'm interested in the car, and I posted both in this thread and I sent a PM. He seems to have fallen off the face of the earth.
Cold feet on the sale? Other priorities? Is he OK?

Probably counting his daily appreciation value offline. Always seemed like a wishy washy for sale ad to me. I wouldn't be surprised if he just stopped responding to inquires cause he doesn't want to sell. Also if he is from Mass probably under about a foot of snow at this point.

He last logged in today it appears so it appears he is fine.

Nice to hear that he seems to be drawing breath - lol
I'm in CT, and I can attest to snow being present but not debilitating.
As for the definitive nature of the offer for sale, I figured "Buy my 996" as a title for the thread seemed pretty solid. Naive?
