Historically, classic 911’s are considered collectible, and appreciate in value. And as of its 20th anniversary, Type 996 is now considered a classic 911. There is also inflation in general, and market volatility in particular.

Nothing to see here folks, except 996 prices “drifting up” now forever, like most everything else collectible; especially classic 911’s.

And then there's this Garage Queen with unique interior:

I think the SEMA car is hard to look at, just my personal opinion.

Fake ambers (12/98 late-build). Shame on PCar for not calling that out.

Whatever floats everyone's boat. The market will tell us if the Sema car is liked or not.

Rated at "350hp" and "As I keep telling people the performance is likely comparable with a 996TT in terms of straight line speed"
I don't believe that's correct,
I don't see a 350hp V8 and a 415hp flat 6 performing the same.
Does it have potential? Yes!
I'd personally prefer it without the wide body and air bags suspension.

SEMA build = works just well enough that it can be driven into the spot it's parked. Means nothing lol.

Incorrect, the lights that someone keeps babbling on about actually came from the 1996 Euro Boxster, so if you really feel strongly about the GT1, you should be buying one of those, not a 996.
