Buying a 993 C4S in this market requires a large sack.......and a large sack of money also Talk about bubbles. Yes I'm hopefuly it pops, then I can buy my 993 C2S back. Otheriwse it's gone forever.

997 is the worst body style. And yes I've owned them before. And let's not even get into the interior. It's what happens when you are stuck in transition of classic and modern. Button much? But hey, there is an *** for every seat as they say.

I'd take a C4 Corvette over any Porsche C4s

Bought a 996.1 Aero car and that was it for me. I was hooked. I do understand to each his own. I'm just sharing my experience which is likely the minority and I'm fine that way. Always have been. All I know is I pull up at Cars and Coffee and a bunch of people gather around my car to talk about it. Maybe it's because they don't see the 996.1 aero often? Maybe it's because its really ugly? I have no idea but I do enjoy talking about it.
The same feeling with my e30 M3's. Both special cars to me.

I've only had a couple 997.1. An S and then a GT3. Both great examples. Bought the S first then thought I was missing something. Bought the GT3 to try to find it but that it wasn't the cure either.

Lol, first off 997.2 interior is much better than .1 Second of all love your aggression lol. Guess you’re still sour because I think the aero kit on your car belongs on a 19 year olds Honda Civic.

Funny you mention that. My buddy bought a 997.1 S and he drove my car last. I drove his as welland it’s very fast but you don’t “feel” much. He drove mine and said it’s a different animal. From the moment he put in gear and went, he said you can feel every aspect from the steering feedback all the way to shifting… it was an experience.
Case in point: My 15 year old son is doing 175 mph down the back straight at VIR as a passenger. Comes back in the pits and says, Dad, your car is more fun. M2 CSR. 310 wheel hp and 290 lb feet torque.
The 996 is perfect balance for a 911. Powerful enough, fun enough, feels enough, looks enough, cheap enough and reliable enough. Not in any particular order
A new car with feels? The BMW M2 CS. Amazing car. BMW hit a homerun with it.
