There have been cleaner 996's for sale. It's an 8 out of 10 IMHO.

Yes I wouldn't feel safe driving a right hand drive on the streets and highways here, and I thought about the engine revving on a not yet warmed up engine as well when I watched it.

If you look closely, the temperature arrow immediately jumps to 80 Celsius which is just about operating temperature so no cold engine revving here. Hope the steering on the right side didn't throw y'all off that much

Yes. The cool thing about the UK cars is it rains so much there that many have no sunroof (if you like that kind of thing).

Didn't look. The right hand steering is weird. Every time I tried to use the turn signal I turned on the windshield wipers!
As far as free revving I have been told it is bad even on a warm engine. Who does that to a car like these? Unnecessary IMHO. Unless you're trying to clear the excess fuel out of your dragster or impress your idiot buddies or some cutie who doesn't know any better it's just stupid.(and two of the previous three are stupid as well)

Go look again. The car has the PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust) option. The seller clearly revs the engine to 4-5k rpm to show the difference between the valve being on and off and is not revving it as an idiot as you suggested and bouncing it off the limiter or something. Stop thinking these cars are so fragile. If you're going to cause damage with a few revs like this you probably had a bigger problem brewing in there.
