Need help identifying this hose

I found this hose leaking a little oil tonight. I think it goes to the oil cooler. It’s on the passenger side rear of my 2000 911 with automatic. Would anyone know what it is called or the part number.

THANKS

It's part #29 here. There seems to be multiple versions that depends on the engine number. It will be safer to check by the VIN with a Porsche dealer.

Pretty sure you want 996-106-233-56 Water Hose - Feed Pipe to Thermostat Housing Cover. Check out Pelican Parts 996 Tech Articles. You’ll find the reference and photo in comments at bottom of page for coolant hose replacement to confirm. Thank you, Pelican.

FYI - If that hose is leaking oil you have a massive intermix problem.

thanks everyone

Thanks everyone for the info. I found the correct part and it is on order. Only other question is when I change the hose will I let too much air in the system and create another problem?

When you remove that hose, coolant will gush out and drain the same way as if the drain plug was removed. Therefore, you will need to do a full (3gal) refill of the coolant afterwards. Best is to use a vacuum tool but there are also manual procedures you can try.
