Default Raining in S FL

I put the Cab away a few days ago with the top down, now it has been raining on and off here for days, missing just taking it out for a "spin"...
(I know ...I could put the top up, but the car was just detailed....I'll wait )
Hopefully it'll clear for our hosting the Happy Hour on Thursday

For the last few years it's been like living in a rain forest here in eastern PA. Last year it broke records for total rainfall dating back to the Civil War.

What a bunch of babies.

Drive it...

Here's the rainfall, for my area, for the month of June. I can barely keep up with the mowing and trimming. Oh wait - I can't keep up...

What’s that white stuff on the ground?
come to Vero Beach, when it is raining south of us, especially in the Palm Beaches, we are usually dry as a bone.
But, man, do I miss the mountain roads in Northern NJ and the Catskills.
But then again, no white stuff on the ground here.

I’m in Naples and have to drive it in the rain (or it wouldn’t get driven...).

Just take a deep breath and ease it out into the elements.

Right - I recall when we visited my aunt, in Miami, it rained hard everyday in the late afternoon. Could almost set your watch by it.

Me too, but my wash is a little less frequent. Maybe once a month, whether it needs it or not. Oh wait - it always needs it. Hit the car wash just yesterday. So until it rains later today, it should remain somewhat clean.

Woo! no rain today! Or at least not right now. We probably will see rain tonight.

As if it matters to me - I drive my car every day, rain or shine.

The first PCA event I ever attended many years ago was a dinner at Old Heidelburg (sp?) restaurant on SR 84 in Fort Lauderdale. It was a "dark & stormy night" to paraphrase Snoopy, Mine was the only Porsche in the parking lot. It looked like a meeting of minivans anonymous, lol

Last night I drove home through puddles that would have gushed into the car had I stopped and opened the doors which I did not.

Rain? no biggie for my far-from-a-garage-queen 996.

(I even drive the GT3 in the rain....it has outstanding windshield wipers)
