I think its cool how they created a segment from the show specifically going over the IMS Solution install..
No, no one had an idea that they were shooting this, and it appears they bought the kit at retail to use for the show. No contact from them was made here, or at LN.
I also think that it's ironic that they titled the video "the CHEAPEST way to fix a Porsche 996 IMS Bearing" when the IMS Solution kit they purchased is the most expensive product on the market.
I guess they consider value, more than initial cost. Imagine that.

Its cheap if you do it yourself.
840.00 just for the pre inspection here in CA. over 6k without clutch, AOS or new case bolts just for IMSS. Easy 8k plus in CA for this install.
Great product just an arm and a leg to get it installed by a Certified shop in CA anyway.
Looks like a pretty straight forwards install.
Maybe a few DIY guys can chime in that have done this job at home.

Owning a shop in California is murder. The compliance, and stupid crap never ends. Hell, they have to have a California compliant tire pressure gauge that's calibrated, and note tire pressures on every car they see, among other hoops to jump through.
Likely it costs that shop 125K per month in overhead before they make their first dollar, in my classes this is the number that has been conversed between Ca shop ones before, and in one class a shop owner in OC said his overhead was 140K per month for a 5 bay shop.
