What would you have on hand if you were replacing a pair of mufflers...Clamps...spare bolts ?? What else so that there are no surprises...

It's a simple set up. Are your bolt and clamps shot?

If the bolts on the sleeve that joins the muffler with the catalytic converters are rusted solid and you can't get them out, just cut off the nut. You can replace them with any similar size stainless steel at your local hardware store. They don't need to be a specific size, they just need to be long enough. You'll likely have to hit the sleeves with penetrating oil to get them to move after the bolts are removed. You might have to tap them with a hammer to get them started. The clamps that hold the tips to the muffler might need replacing, but you can try cutting the bolts if necessary and just replacing the nuts and bolts.
