Default 997 Carrera 2's on an 01 C4

Bought my C4 with 19's on it.
Aftermarket, heavy and I live in Pennsylvania definitely want some more sidewall.
I grabbed a set of mint condition wheels that had been on a 997.
They are 18X8 57 in the front and
18X10 58 for the rear.
I put them on the car just to see how they would look as I couldn't drive it because the tires are too big on the 997 and I need staggered ratios as I have a C4.
The front tires rubbed in my wheel wells and were very close to my struts.
I should mention that my C4 has 030 suspension and H&R lowering springs.
Before I order tires for these rims, reckon I am going to need spacers?
Or should I just sell these rims and try to find the correct ones?
Thanks!
Grant

You can probably mess around and figure out how to get those rims to fit, but it'd probably be easier to just buy some that are known to fit. Rennlist marketplace often has options. Craigslist has been a good source for more local purchases. Some areas (NJ, NYC) seem to have more of a supply of used rims on their Craigslist sites, if you're willing to travel a bit.
