Default Imagine a "Wassergekühlt" show...

I've been looking at all the draw-dropping gorgeous photos from Luft 6 this week and started wondering, what would it look like someone put together a show like that for the water cooled cars - a Wassergekühlt show.

Which water cooled cars would make the cut? I can think of a couple I'd like to see:
The original Boxster concept

The GT1 (with 996 Mk1 fried egg headlights!)

What other Porsches would you want to see? I think that ground rules would have to be cars that are significant because the factory only made a limited number or are uniquely and tastefully customized. And of course, no air-cooled engines.

I guess a Renegade LS swap wouldn't fly?

Worth it just to tell a 911 owner that "there's probably some room to park in the back, just don't park in the showcase area, please."

Wanna buy one? This belongs to an acquaintance. It's legally on the road in Canada, and would be old enough to import to the states relatively easily. 50k CAD is like high 30's USD today.

It’s lovely, but one Porsche is at least one too many for me at the moment. Someone else is going to be the lucky owner of that one.

I really like the way you are thinking on this. I don't know of any event targeted at the water cooled community. And we need one. You made a good start with defining the Boxster prototype as the start of our era and we should go from there.

Does anyone know of an existing, smaller event we could all get behind and support? Or just another "Porsche" event that we could run parallel with?
