Default Hand brake

What would be the normal number of "clicks" that the handbrake should "hold" at?
Can it be adjusted from the back of the lever?

I don’t recall the spec - it is in the manual. 3-4 clicks? Yes, it can be adjusted from the rearward side if the ebrake handle, there is an adjusting nut and lock nut (10mm iirc) for fine adjustment. Initial/gross adjustment is done at the rear wheels though, by turning the star adjuster wheels through a lug bolt hole in the rotor. I highly recommend digging up the procedure. Let me know if you cannot find it and I’ll try to dig it up.

Here is one that I googled up quickly (Pelican articles are usually decent): https://www.pelicanparts.com/techart...Adjustment.htm

I did not find a "sticky" for the brake, there are some Youtube's but nothing about how much you can adjust from inside the car, or how to access the adjustment (03 996 manual)

I posted an article above that may help. It says two clicks, but I seem to recall more.

To access the adjuster, you would have to remove the cover inside the storage bin in the center console. I’ve only adjusted mine with the console out.

From the Bentley (if you don’t have this book, it is a good purchase):

Very helpful posting. I appreciate getting to see into the Bentley manual. I'm sure I'll be picking one up soon.

Thank you!
