MC? I've been looking at those....I wonder how much common problems they have and how easy it's to work on

Yes, MC. I did a little research, they seem to be pretty reliable. This one has 18k miles and had been in the dealership owners family.

Were you the one that made the post about how you weren't sure if you liked your car? Regardless it looked nice to me! I hope you like the Maserati, I've detailed a few and they don't do much for me but then again I don't have much seat time. That one sure looks good though, really digging that rear end.

Yes, that was me.

The first time I drove it I wasn't that crazy about it. I took it out the next day and ended up becoming a fan. It sounds amazing! It may sound silly, but when you downshift and the throttle blips, it makes me smile every time.

They definitely sound really good, I enjoyed starting them up to move them that is for sure. Congrats on the new car.

Yeah, the sound is hard to resist. We have a friend with an older 2013 model. I always love a cold start:

I would like an 09 with the F1 gearbox. Not sure about the cost of maintenance though.

I was looking at those before 911s. They do sound great. A friend of mine has a friend who is a Maserati tech and based on what my friend had heard, he talked me out of it. The other downside (for me) with the Grantursimo is no manual transmission option.

Plus, Maserati is hard to spell and I can't ever figure out if it's Granturismo, GranTurismo, or Gran Turismo.

On the upside, I don't really ever hear people arguing about how to pronounce "Maserati".

I say enjoy the hell out of it amigo - I also love those cars, My brother has one and truly love it, I would however love it more if it was a 6 speed - My problem has been everything I stray from the 911 platform, I only return to find, there simply isn't nothing like it, as for me, it's perfection - everyone loves what they do, so Drive It Like you Stole It
