ttt123, I like what you did as a pragmatic solution. I’m impressed with your fabrication skills. I still don’t see how you bridged that huge gap... did you use any sheet metal to fill it? I could be wrong, but I do suspect filling in the panel versus full roof skin replacement could impact resale on a street car that was less custom than yours.

I didn't want to be a thread thief but my build thread shows how I filled it in. It wasn't hard at all to do and went quite well. As far as resell... ya I wasn't even considering that as a worry. I only paid $17k for the car and I figure with the mods IF I was to to sell... I'd probably break even(with what I put into it) or take a small loss.. no worries as the fun I've had with the project will be worth it.
