996 to 991

The 991 is technically a "better" car in just about every measurable metric (power, speed, stopping etc.). It's the un-quantifiable things which may make the 996 perhaps more desirable (not better) car. We all have our reasons why we like one thing more than another, but don't fool yourself into thinking that our beloved 996 is in any way "better" or will out perform a 991.

Insert 993 instead of 996 and this quote fits the prior generation too.

Unless you cant make things workout, why not keep the 996 and save up for a 991. Best of both worlds. Hey get creative maybe you can sell extra junk you dont use to get the down payment instead of giving up your 996.
