Wife beating and Porsche roof racks..... neither are for me. I have a truck for racks and towing.

Default Coming from an Audi long roof
Just bought a 996.1 c4 and would love to throw a roof box on top. I have one that i use on my b6 s4 avant but it is pretty long, longer than the roof of the s4 by a foot or so. Was the OEM box but think it is a Thule unit. Has anyone tried to put a fairly long box on a short roof? Seems
Thanks, actually my first post on my car. It's great so far. The S4 is still faster but i appreciated the lightness of the 996.

For now though I have coolant leak and a miss with knocking at idle. Seems the seller failed to disclose a few things. Taking it to the shop on Monday.
