I would recommend Bilstein B4 (Exatly like OEM) or B6 (a little bit sportier, but with the same riding height). Curiously, for our cars, the B6 are cheaper than the B4...

I'm curious about this as well. I'm also a Targa owner. What about upgrading the springs to something like an H&R spring along with the Bilsteins? I'm not going to really track it much and want to keep a stock type of ride while improving the stance and handling.

ROW M030 OEM Porsche. Available from Suncoast or Carewal.

I would recommend replacing the strut top mounts and bearings, especially the fronts. These are not included with the M030 kit. If you really want to refresh everything then replace all suspension arms and swaybar drop links at the same time.

I will admit I am guilty of "where do you stop?" syndrome. I would do wheel bearings and at least regrease the half shafts with new boots too while I was at it. LOL. I have a sickness.

^^ You read my mind. I have just made the RoW C4S suspension on my car, together with front strut mounts and bearings, and the result could not make me happier.

Thanks for all the advice, simply put the car has been in the south all its life before coming to Kansas City, all arms, boots etc are in great condition. Shocks seem to be a little "mushei" I have the chance to buy a new set of Red Koni actives for $700 or could go the Bilstein B4 @ $1218. I am only street driving and some long road trips, Watkins Glen this year.
So just looking at these 2 options ???

OP: If you haven’t looked at the M030, you should. Value and the way the car should’ve been spec’d as ‘std’. Shocks, struts, springs and sways for a very reasonable cost. You can even find the X74 front tops...not cheap, but less $ than the Taretts or Elephants...for full factory flavor. The only pick I have with the M030 is I’d like about 13mm more drop.

Full M030 and 15mm spacers all corners. PS4S shoes on 19’s.

^^ Same on my daily driver 1999 C4 - replaced stock with RoW M030 from Carnewal, including additional items as Nickshu noted at Gert's recommendation, at about 153,000mi...Ride is great... missing spacers that improve look and agree with the desired drop.
