New C4S owner

Congrats! Love the color!
There's a chance I almost bought that car about 3 years ago when I was in the market. I was very seriously considering a red C4S in St. Louis and actually had already rented a 1-way enterprise to go 'look' at it. I bailed the night before and flew to New Hampshire and bought mine. The seller at the time was a car lot and they weren't doing a good job of getting back to me or providing pictures. If I remember correctly it had the the headlight covers but not a turbo re-badge or wing. I still have the carfax though and the one I was looking at was owned by the original owner for 8 years 10 months and had 63,636 miles on the clock when it was sold.
edit: Just looked at the pics again and now I'm pretty much convinced it was the same car because I remember the black mirrors.

They listed the car on Thursday, i saw the CarGurus ad on Friday and called and put a hold on it right away. It was listed as a C2, but obviously isn't.

Thank you, l'm glad you passed on it or it wouldn't be mine now. The CARFAX from the first owner is incredible. The car lot even had the 80k scheduled maintenance done. My salesman Kenny was very open, honest and responsive.

I absolutely love the look of that car (except the fake turbo script and weird headlight covers, which IMO are tacky...but to each their own). You're going to enjoy the hell out of it.

Congrats! I too am in MN and I just got my new to me 2002 C4S delivered on Saturday (via FL). Perfect timing for the dropping temps and all the fresh powder. I was a bit impatient and grabbed a silver with black interior. Today was a great commute.

I'd also get bumper plugs to fill those liscense plate holes. I don't daily drive mine in Mn (5,000 yr) and haven't been pulled over yet.🤞
I'm going to pull my bumper, epoxy some magnets on backside and do the magnetic plate holder. I'm going to form/bend it to follow the curve and profile of the bumper. The flat plate really messes up the clean look.

I do have the bumper plugs. I didn't realize right away what they were, but they were in the center console. I'll daily drive it in the summer but planned to put my plate on the front.
