That looks like a lot of fun and I'm impressed that there's a Chevette in the rust belt that is still going.

You are correct. He found it in Kentucky. I mentioned to him, that had he chosen a Vega - we wouldn't even be speaking to each other now.

Thanks to Scott for the invite to a local car get together today. Many interesting and rare vehicles and truly nice people. Most importantly, I was able to establish the existence of “Speedy” and confirm that Speedy was being treated properly and with care. Now back to your regularly scheduled program...

Thanks, Randy. It was nice meeting you today. Hope we get together more often.

You might not recognize Speedy now. I pumped 10 quarters into the local jukebox - I mean car wash. Most of the dirt and dust is gone.

Looks like you had a blast in the mud. How many entrants showed?

We limit entries at our place to 50. Otherwise we could have close to 70. Weather may have kept two from showing, so we ended up with 48.

Just found it in the "bulk mail" box of my other provider. I've been sitting at my desk with a case of perma-grin since I got a good look at the file.

What a disappointment. I had to drive something other than Speedy today.

Our company is having a "take your electronic junk to work day". I can't fit two really large TVs, two old printers and various other electronic relics in Speedy - otherwise, I probably would. The real sad part is that I have to drive the truck again tomorrow. A little rain scared the collectors off - so I get to take all the crap home and come back with it tomorrow. Sissies.

Anyway, all is good with Speedy. I might add a photo later, just so you will remember what he looks like....

Hey look at you. Nice to see you check-in here. You need to stop out for a beer one day soon. I'll take you for a couple of laps of the track....
