No skill, just determination. I could not have done it without RL and Pelican's Tech articles.
If I can do it, anyone can...

Winner winner chicken dinner Motoo! So what’d ya think a .1 with similar miles and a bit more interesting color combo will go for, more or less?

Looks like a nice car that had everything done but the tires. Very nice options and good color combo (subjective) too. Wild guess - $25,000 + 5% buyers premium to BAT. Figure $800 for tires, total into the car would be around $27,000 - $27,500. Now we will see how close I get. If I miss by a mile everyone can laugh at me.

I'm going to guess low 20s.
Make it $22,000.

OK - you are officially the big winner. $22,255 plus BAT fee. Other than needing tires looks like a really nice car. I was thinking it would go for a little more, but this still seems like a very fair price.

You guys are good (nice work Tex!)-- and that makes me happy.

I shop everyday for these cars even though i bought one a year and half ago. i just can't stop looking. Ebay. Craigs. BAT. Rennlist and 6speed Marketplace. And I know y'all must do the same to have such a good idea of final sales price..... glad to know I'm not alone in this madness!

OK, last one (for now): .2, uber low miles, but in a color that is polarizing (I personally LOVE the 996 in speed yellow, my buddy has one and looks so much better in person). This one does not have full leather like the other two (a must in my book), but does have the damn bearing upgrade that the other two had. Funny, BAT seems to have a lot of collectors that bid, so I think the mileage is a plus in that environment (a negative to me) Also, realize an auction like this comes down to if someone that loves Speed as much as i do comes into the room, but I'm gonna play along this time and throw out $27996....

I'm guessing that you meant $17,996 not $27,996? This one will be interesting to see. As several others have said, someone will want the Speed Yellow bad enough to pay extra. There was a very nice Speed Yellow in Los Angeles on BAT a few weeks ago - forget the selling price but I think it was around $25k. Really like the yellow seat belts on this one!

$26,000
Because:
  1. Speed Yellow
  2. 996.2
  3. <20K miles
  4. Speed Yellow

When I bought my 996 in September 2017 with 54K I said the same thing.
How can there be ANY 996 with less than 100K?
I LOVE daily driving mine! (Just hit 67K)
Thankfully there are people who don't drive their cars and leave them for us to enjoy.
That you for taking the huge depreciation hit, I'll take take the keys now.

Exactly! The best part about owning one is driving it knowing you didn't pay MSRP...
