I've been focusing on 996's because I believe they are a better car, although surely not better looking. That is a beautiful 997, lots of owners though, and a bit steep for my budget I think.

@boholio , did you end up getting a 996TT as a daily? I’ve been using mine as my street driver for almost 2 years and still going strong. Admittedly, I was tempted to substitute it with a 7.1 GT3RS but eventually realized that 996TT was a better all season, go-anywhere street driver.

mclaudio, yup, sure did! I ended up with an 03 X50 6spd and absolutely love it!

I'm just about to put my winter set of wheels/tires on and my WeatherTech floor mats just came in, so I'm ready to test it out in the winter.

Very glad I waited for the right car with all of the options I wanted though, as the heated seats have already came in handy.
